We respect every customer's privacy and right to request deletion of their personal data. However, due to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and our obligations under the Financial Services Agency (FSA), we are required to retain certain identity and transaction records for a legally defined period.

Registered only (no KYC, no transaction) ✅ Yes We will fully delete your personal information upon request.
Completed KYC but no transaction ❌ No KYC records must be retained for 7 years under AML law.
Completed transaction, no KYC ❌ No Transaction logs must be retained for 7 years as per FSA regulations.
Completed KYC and transaction ❌ No All records must be stored for 7 years to comply with AML & FSA standards.

4. How We Process Deletion Requests

If Eligible for Deletion

  • All personal identifiers (name, email, phone, address, ID) are erased.
  • Remaining system logs are anonymized or marked as “Deleted User”.

If Not Eligible

  • Account is deactivated, and no further login is permitted.
  • Front-end name displays are masked as “Deleted User” where applicable.
  • All data is securely retained for the mandated 7-year duration.

5. Mandatory Retention Requirements

In accordance with the FSA’s Anti-Money Laundering Guidelines and Japan’s AML laws, we are required to retain the following for at least 7 years:

  • KYC documents and verification records
  • Transaction histories and audit logs
  • Risk assessments and system access logs

6. Customer Notification

Once a data deletion request is submitted, our compliance team will confirm whether the request qualifies under Japanese law. If deletion is permitted, we will carry it out within a reasonable timeframe. If retention is legally required, the customer will be notified accordingly with references to relevant laws.
